Former Gamecock Spencer Lanning makes a living kicking a football. Sunday he was on the receiving end of a kick...to the face. The Cleveland Browns punter was covering his own punt when Pittsburgh return man Antonio Brown tried to hurdle him. Lanning received a foot to the face but helped to bring Brown down. USC Tied For 3rd After Regional 1st Round

The fourth-seeded South Carolina men’s golf team shot a 286 (+6) on Thursday in the opening round of the NCAA Eugene Regional at Eugene Country Club. The Gamecocks finished the day in a tie for third place with North Florida and are 10 shots back of tournament leader Stanford. Bradley To Start Season In Minors

The Boston Red Sox announced Friday former Gamecock Jackie Bradley Jr. will start out the season in AAA Pawtucket. Grady Sizemore won the Red Sox starting job in center field. Bradley hit .158 and led the Red Sox in strikeouts this spring. continue reading ›
