Haley, GOP govs seek NLRB complaint dismissal

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and other Republican governors are calling on the National Labor Relations Board to dismiss its complaint against Boeing as a congressional hearing over the matter gets under way.

South Carolina unemployment went up slightly in May, re-establishing double-digit jobless numbers. The South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce said Friday that the May jobless rate was 10 percent, up from 9.8 percent in April.
