Animal euthanizing, it's a horrible reality. Hard to watch and hear about, but there is something you can do to help.

At the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter in Camden, the number of animal intakes has more than doubled since April. In fact, the more they're brought in, the more they have to be killed.

A follow-up to the shocking shooting in Palmetto Health Richland's Emergency Room Tuesday night.

The woman who took a Correctional Officer's gun away from him and proceeded to shoot herself in the head is not doing well. According to police spokesman, Brick Lewis, she is on life support.

A couple of years from now, there will be a new place to get your fruits and veggies in the Midlands.

Today, state and county officials broke ground on the site of the new Farmers Market in Lexington. The 174 acre site is located off Charleston Highway about two miles from I-77.
