Josh Berry joined ABC Columbia as an evening news anchor on July 3, 2017.

A native of Dallas, Texas, Berry was most recently weekend anchor and reporter for KLRT and KARK in Little Rock, Arkansas.

A graduate of Henderson State University, Berry began his career in the Abilene, TX television market.

While in Little Rock, he was honored with a 2016 Regional EMMY award as the anchor of the best weekend newscast.

Berry has also received multiple Emmy nominations for his work as a reporter, including a story sharing how a young man sent one final goodbye text message to his mom, moments before a deadly EF-4 tornado killed him and 15 others.

“This opportunity is one I don’t take lightly,” he said about anchoring at ABC Columbia. “I look forward to spending time with and earning the trust of viewers in the Midlands.”
