The storm is still about 2 thousand miles out to sea and a lot can happen as it moves closer. It’s estimated position on Friday is somewhere near the southeastern Bahamas. From there the storm will most likely move to the northeast with about equal chances of it going out to sea or impacting the east coast. It’s important to remember that the skill at forecasting hurricanes beyond 5 days is very low. And the earliest that we could feel impacts from this storm is next Monday or Tuesday – 8 to 9 days from now. So please stay tuned and we’ll keep tracking the storm and updating the forecast.
