Surveillance video in Sonic armed robbery released

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Richland County Sheriff’s deputies say a suspect robbed the Sonic on Hardscrabble Road, armed with a handgun.

On May 8, the suspect demanded that the store employee re-enter the business after approaching the victim outside, deputies say.

The suspect took and unknown amount of money.

Deputies say the victim was not injured.
