COLUMBIA SC (WOLO)–According to MADD South Carolina Director Steven Burritt, 301 lives were lost in alcohol related traffic accidents in 2015. It’s a number, that although much lower than years past, is 301 too many.
MADD, an organization formed more than 35 years ago, is holding it’s Annual Walk Like Madd event on Saturday at Saluda Shoals. The event is a non-competitive 5K walk/run to “remember loved ones, inspire change, and commit a nation to no more victims.”
Registration for the event starts at 2:00PM and starts at 3:30.
