Turning wine into water for the water in our collective backyards
Tyler Ryan learns about the mission of Sustainable Midlands and the Wine for Water program
COLUMBIA SC (WOLO)–Several local environmental groups are coming together Wednesday evening with the mission of creating awareness of the importance of protecting the vital water supply that starts with the watersheds that exist in our own backyards.
Sustainable Midlands, Rocky Branch, Smith Branch, and Gills Creek Watershed associations are holding a “Wine for Water” benefit on Wednesday at the Hall at Senate’s End on April 19th. The event includes food from local restaurants, wines from around the world, a silent action, and music.
