Deputies: Suspects Sought in Vehicle Break-Ins, Credit Card Fraud

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating a man and woman wanted in connection with at least two car break-ins and credit card fraud.

Investigators say an unknown male suspect, driving a dark colored Jeep Grand Cherokee, was captured on surveillance breaking into two separate vehicles at Virginia College located in the 7200 block of Two Notch Road on March 2.

The male suspect reportedly went to the Cracker Barrel located at 2300 Legrand Road on March 7 and committed the same act.

A female accomplice then used the victim’s stolen credit cards to withdraw funds from their accounts, investigators say.
