Spectator Guide: SEC Women’s Tournament in Greenville
GREENVILLE, S.C. (WOLO) – The 2017 SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament begins Wednesday in Greenville.
If you’re headed to the Upstate to catch any of the games, Visit Greenville suggests making a little vacation out of it. Greenville was recently named by The New York Times as one of the 52 Places to Go in 2017. The Bon Secours Wellness Arena, (“The Well”) where the games are played, is less than 3/10 of a mile to Main Street- the center of Greenville’s activity with more than 120 locally owned restaurants, boutiques, museums, a 32 acre park and waterfalls, the beginning of the 20+ mile Swamp Rabbit Bike Trail, a free trolley, more than 70 works of public art, a performing arts center and six major hotels.
Free parking is available at Redemption Church. Shuttles will run to Bon Secours from 9:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, and 10:15 a.m. to midnight on Thursday and Friday.
