Richland Library to Celebrate Opening of New Sandhills Branch

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Richland Library’s new Sandhills branch is celebrating a grand opening this weekend.

The ribbon-cutting, complete with activities, live music and food trucks, takes place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The public is invited to attend.

The new location is at 763 Fashion Drive behind Belk in the Village at Sandhills.

In November 2013, Richland County residents passed a $59 million bond referendum that will enhance the library system’s facilities over the next few years. For more information, click here.
