Then End of Hurricane Season

Today “officially” marks the end of the hurricane season. I say “officially” because once in a while Mother Nature doesn’t know when the season ends and we can see storms after the season ends. This year was the most active since 2012 with 5 storms making landfall in the United States. For a complete summary of this season – both Atlantic and Pacific, check out this article. http://www.noaa.gov/media-release/first-above-normal-atlantic-hurricane-season-since-2012-produced-five-landfalling-us
Below is a satellite view of Hurricane Matthew when it was off the coast of Florida. Matthew was the most devastating storm to hit the United States this year.
